a discussion thread. i have been reading about painterly enrichments and figurative enrichments. and i'm seeing how my work is shifting from the painterly to the figurative. it explains why i'm attracted to de kooning's work,as he combines both facets well. it also reveals how rauschenberg held such an attractive position for me...shoot me a verb. i would enjoy discussing what i'm studying and how it relates to one's work..
